ENTER THE WORLD OF THE GOLDEN POO…
As poop, the Japanese understand there are many different types of poop and here we have Kin no unko (金のうんこ) or "golden poo” or “good luck”. But why is this a Japanese cultural phenomenon?
While there are many articles on the historical reasons, the fact is, the modern Japanese have a different outlook on life.
You’ve heard of Ikigai (finding your purpose) to KonMari method (Marie Konda’s keeping things that only sparking joy).
Well, lets deep dive into Unchi, the golden poo philosophy.

Poo is poo right? But the word Unchi in Japanese refers more to baby poo. And while baby poo is still poo, it’s also something wonderful in that you’d never touch poo or look at it even, but when it is your own baby, then it is something special. Baby poo, Unchi, means on some level, a recognition of love.
As for the golden transformation of the poo, well, life is hard, but it through those poo poo times, do we find our own growth and strength and in that way, our own luck. The luck represented by Unchi is not just about getting lucky, but rather a luck that turns your life around. The luck of the comeback. It’s the Japanese equivalent, ‘when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade', except in this case, it’s poo and it turns into gold.
Finally, Japan is a gift giving culture, and for Unchi coin, it’s not about you being lucky, but you giving hope and gifting that luck to someone who needs it and let karma do its thing. We speak about generational wealth, but the objective of wealth is to share it with those closest to you, to give hope and most of all a second chance.
Unchi coin is, a recognition of true wealth is the act of gifting luck, gifting hope and by doing so, giving others a chance to get lucky by turning things around.
That’s what Unchi coin is standing up for.
If Japan can give us Anime, Karaoke and Sushi, its time we adopted the most important thing, poo.

So where do we go from here?
As a web3 gaming studio, we’ve done the first part by doing something nutty and launched Unchi Coin to draw attention by doing things with the best intentions. As part of the meme coin culture, we know it’s all about the greater community that can believe in something.
After 3 & 1/2 years of development, we’re ready to launch our crazy game about fighting for love on the Xai Blockchain which is part of the Arbitrum ecosystem. For us this is part of our journey in launching and growing our game, MAYG, but beyond that, we wanted to make a meme coin that represented the best of the beliefs of what gaming means to us.
The comebacks, the highs and lows and the friendships we’ve made without ever having met in real life, but are filled with trust and love. Maybe this will be bigger than what we were going for, maybe it won’t be, but you can’t dive deep into anything and have it work without being fully authentic in it. But in the end, if you’ve made it this far, we hope we can make this happen together.
